A women-led family business
GLS was founded in 1983 by the Berlin entrepreneur Barbara Jaeschke, who still runs the company today, now together with her daughters Dr. Verena Jaeschke (left) and Dr. Reemda Jaeschke (right).
GLS history
What began as a one woman show in 1983, is now a company with 150 employees and a 16,000 m² campus with a school & 2 hotels in the very center of Berlin.

Students can have their German courses with GLS recognized for university degrees, i.e. earn academic credits at GLS..

W 2019 roku Ryugaku Journal z Tokio nominował GLS jako jedną z 10 najlepszych szkół językowych na świecie. GLS jest jedyną szkołą języka niemieckiego w Top 10: więcej o Top 10 szkołach.
GLS - "najlepsza szkoła językowa"
W 2021 roku GLS została nagrodzona tytułem „German Language School of the Year” przez Stowarzyszenie Tureckich Operatorów Turystycznych w Stambule (UED).
